Diabetic Retinopathy. [read more] [close]
Diabetes can damage blood vessels in the eyes, which leads to blindness if left untreated. For this reason, you should get regular eye exams if you're diabetic. Pan Asian's resident ophthalmologist, Dr. Jeffrey Chung, will perform these exams.

Fecal Immunochemical Test (FIT). [read more] [close]Hepatitis B screening, treatment, and treatment referral. See STOP B for more information.
This procedure tests for hidden blood in the stool, which can be an early sign of colon cancer. FIT is preferable to other tests since it has no drug or dietary restrictions; and since it detects only blood from the lower intestines, it tends to be more accurate and produces fewer false positives.
